While on a road trip to an abandoned family home, a group of teenagers pick up a hitchhiker, now this is one sick twisted dude, probably one that you would see on back of a milk carton or in a dark alley on the streets. The hitchhiker used to work in a nearby slaughter house. He quickly demonstrates that he’s a few beers short of a six pack, when he starts carving up his own hand, laughing, he turns to Sally’s brother Franklin and gives him a slice with the rusty old razor across the hand. The group then dumps him out of the van and then tails off while he smears blood onto the van.

Once at the house and in need of gas, two of the kids wander to a local house run entirely on gasoline generators.As their search continues the buildup to some horrific terror is about to begin. The first couple that have wandered off into the woods and into the home we quickly slaughtered, the man first was hit over the head with a mallet and in a scene that has made the ass of a woman the key to horror films is the one where Teri McMinn strolled off the swinging bench and walked very slowly up to the house, it was shot with brilliance and I’ll never forget those candy apple colored shorts for as long as I live. She however was the second one that was savagely murdered, the meat hook scene, yes! one of the spine tingling moments ever in a film, She was scooped up trying to make a run for the door and leatherface quickly grabbed a hold of her, brought her back to his kitchen and plastered her onto a meat hook and she hung there shaking like an autumn leaf ready to fall off the tree and die.

There is no in depth plot but what the film was focusing on was pure terror, almost like a mind rape of emotions. Sally and her brother Franklin continue on there way into the deepest and darkest part of the woods at the blue moonlight guides their way. I wont give to much away if you haven’t sen this film, I’m sure all horror fans have already but we get introduced to more scenes of terror and torture.

My favorite scene possibly ever in the movie is Leatherface chasing Sally with the rip roaring chainsaw through the house and the woods, the scene felt  macabre, tense, disturbing, gruesome, atmospheric, with menacing scenarios and situations that could develop, the creepy suspense, the fear…This movie is an actual surrealistic nightmare, it’s all in that one scene!! Nothing will ever beat the image I got when I first saw it. It was like having your first orgasm, it gave you nerves like you had on your first date and it etched a niche into our memories forever.

Some scenes in which I described are unbearable, because of the atmosphere director Tobe Hooper created, Because of that important factor, the low budget, the drama student actors, Tobe Hopper had to descent and describe the lowest levels in human psychology and madness.

Today it remains as a film many will dare you not to see or not to see, it’s a masterpiece of epic proportion and perhaps one of the most frightening films ever made.

I Am What I Say I Am “Rated R”  [JohnnyHorror]

Best thing about it is that there is really no other movie like it. Its tone and feel are similar to living in a box locked up and having the key thrown away ” No pun intended” But honestly there hasn’t been a movie like this one ever before. Needless to say, “Shuttle” is a great low budget horror movie. One hell of a gut wrenching ride, even for an old horror fan like myself who has seen just about everything.

Two Girls (Peyton List and Cameron Goodman) return from a girls weekend vacation in Mexico and find themselves stranded at the airport, They meet up with two guys and the group is focused on getting home safely. They bicker back and forth to each other on which Shuttle to take and end up taking the cheaper one ” Wrong move” from there on the group is in a fight for there lives battle. One flat tire later in a dangerous neighborhood, and things start to go horrifically wrong, beginning with a tire change that ends up severing the fingers of the biggest boys.

Soon, it becomes clear that the driver (Tony Curran) is apparently a sicko, a thief and perhaps a little bit of both.He by far is one of the better actors in the film, or should I say the one who stands out the most because I thought everyone did a solid job and sold the movies tension

The shuttle driver takes the entire bus hostage, but he seems mostly interested in the two girls.The duration of the films keeps it’s fast pace like a humping rabbit and delivers some nice and effective violent scenes. Some scenes include a man being gunned down by the shuttle because of an escape, A bashed in body with a tire iron to knife slicings and burnt off tattoos.

As you finally figure out what the plot is and I’m not going to reveal it’s spoilers you see a scene of two beautiful girls undressing in an abandoned garage, now that might sound sexy and what not but when you see what and why they are undressing for it will make your stomach turn and pull the acid reflux out through your nose.

“Shuttle” Is a smart twisting hard edge thrill ride. Just when I thought it had ended, that’s when it really kicked me in the nuts! If you want a happy ending then this is not your typical Cinderella horror movie, This one is one horrific road trip and it will make you think about half price the next time you think about a boarding a shuttle.
